Before passing away in the early 1990's, Ollie Joe would take his 500 plus pounds onto stage and sit on a steel reinforced stool to perform his act. A man of large appetites, he would pine for the days when he could get some. He was a pseudo cowboy who delivered comedy punchlines with the best of them. Everyone has an Ollie joe story. THe night we recorded him we got on the elevator of the hotel and saw him naked in a dirty clothes cart holding a bottle of Jack Daniels. Also, our best selling DVD.
