Reviews and Teasers

Born in Canada Murray Langston came from a poor family. He helped his parents out by emigrating to the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. He began his career on Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In and soon thereafter as a regular on the Sonny and Cher show.
Early on Langston opened a restaurant that employed Debra Winger, Michael Keaton, David Letterman, Gallagher, Freddy Prinze, and Redd Foxx. Strapped for cash he went to work on the Gong Show on the condition that he could cover his head with a paper bag with eye and nose holes. Appearing as the Unknown Comic he developed a loyal following with his rapid-fire jokes.
We recorded several CDs with Langston. His joking around reminds us of Jackie the Joke Man Martling. But Jackie Martling never dated Debra Winger and Langston did. Maybe he is an officer and a gentleman.
